About

Our Love Story

Fate united us in a special way: She, Brazilian, he, American, met in Portugal in July 2022. Shortly after, in November, he crossed the ocean to meet my family in Brazil. It was in Porto Seguro where he met her mother and they continued to fall in love.

In February 2023, they decided to take the next step and started living together. We have lived a life full of respect, complicity, partnership and a lot of love. Each day reinforces our certainty that we are made for each other.

We can't wait to celebrate our love and commitment in Arraial d'Ajuda - Porto Seguro, a place that has a special meaning in our hearts.

Information

When

The wedding is for 5 nights in Bahia, Brazil starting on January 22nd, 2025 and until January 27th, 2025. The day of the wedding, please arrive by 3:30PM at the wedding venue. The celebrations will end at midnight.

Where

The wedding will be at Pousada Villa Taina located at Estrada da Balsa, 1125 - Arraial d'Ajuda, Porto Seguro - BA, 45816-000

Flying

The local airport is in Porto Seguro (BPS), about 30 minutes from the wedding destination.

Accomodations

Due to the area, it was difficult to reserve a block of rooms for all those attending. Instead, we have created a list of accommodations that we recommend. If you have any questions, please reach out to Philip for advice on the local area.

Transportation

We recommend renting a car at the airport in Porto Seguro from either Movida, Unidas, or Localiza. Other car rental companies are not recommended.

There are options for transfers and uber, however, they are less reliable.

Wedding Dress Code

The wedding has a strict formal wear dress code. Thank you!

Here are a few hotels that we recommend. We did not reserve a block of hotels at a specific place in order to allow people to select an accommodation that best suits their needs.

Pousada Villa Taina

The wedding venue is also a boutique hotel that we have rented out for the entire 5 days. It is on the beach with a pool and other amenities. Please reach out to Philip for availability on rooms.
